Megan Haggerty is a lifelong Slidell resident who has dedicated her career to strengthening our community. As your District C Councilwoman, she has brought nearly four years of dedicated service — earning an impressive 78% of the vote in her first election.
Professionally, Megan works as the Director of Advancement for Pope John Paul II High School. She previously served as Director of Development for the Northshore Humane Society and the Director of Business Development at the St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from UNO and a Master's in Communications from the University of Tennessee.
Megan is married to her high school sweetheart, Sean, and is the proud mother of four children — Sean Patrick, Alex, Mia, and Luke.
